We are looking forward to hosting 8th grade students from KCMS and St. Mike’s on Tuesday March 25th! It’s always an exciting day to get to see next year’s freshman begin to interact with the other students and learn a little bit about high school life.
We have lots of activities planned for our visitors! Here is a sneak peek at what their day will look like. In the morning, they will enjoy juice and donuts in the cafeteria while Student Council gives a brief presentation about high school life. Then the students will divide into groups with freshman guides who will lead them to different rotating activities given by our teachers in the different departments (science, math, language, etc.) The day ends with some fun activities like a game of “Let’s Make a Deal” and a fashion show that will showcase to them the new high school dress code.
We’re looking forward to a great day and can’t wait to meet the visiting 8th graders!
